About the role
Step into a critical national leadership role with a private equity backed global equipment powerhouse, undergoing significant growth. Reporting directly to the CEO, you’ll lead, sales, marketing and the total commercial function.
You will shape and deliver the sales strategy, oversee execution across national key accounts (QSR, HORECA & P&C) whilst working closely with an external agency to bring the brand, marketing and strategy to life across all customer touchpoints.
About you
You’re a dynamic, hands-on sales and marketing leader with a proven track record delivering revenue growth, brand execution and operational excellence.
Your leadership style is approachable, strategic and grounded. You’ll be pivotal in hiring, training and scaling the business and sales team.
Ideally, you will have led sales and marketing in wholesale machinery, equipment focusing on HORECA, QSR, P&C or Foodservice.
About your responsibilities
- Lead National Sales & Operations: Deliver sales and EBITDA targets across all customer channels, including new business and account growth;
- Team Leadership: Lead, coach and develop a high performing team of BDMs, Account Managers, and Sales Support. Recruit for future growth;
- Marketing Strategy Execution: Partner with an external agency to deliver marketing campaigns, lead generation, and brand strategy across digital and traditional channels;
- Customer Experience: Build and maintain strong customer relationships, taking a lead role in high-value deals and ensuring excellent service delivery;
- Strategic Planning & Forecasting: Develop and manage annual sales budgets, pipeline forecasts and commercial strategies; and
- Process & System Optimisation: Streamline sales systems and processes for scalability, automation and ease of use.
About your experience
- Proven experience leading national sales teams in wholesale or B2B environments;
- Strong understanding of brand and marketing execution, including lead generation and value proposition development;
- Demonstrated success in building pipelines, closing major accounts and growing customer portfolios;
- Experience managing budgets, sales forecasts, and delivering to EBITDA/P&L goals;
- Inspirational leadership style with a strong ability to engage, develop and retain talent;
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills;
- A customer-first mindset and a drive for operational excellence; and
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, scaling business where priorities shift and outcomes matter.
