The Tiwi Islands Training and Employment Board also known as TITEB is the employment, training and allied education services provider for the Tiwi Islands Communities. Our programs facilitate strong education outcomes and support the community to reach their potential through the delivery of the Remote Australia Employment Service (RAES), Registered Training Organisation (RTO), Group Training Organisation (GTO), and Tiwi School Support Services (TSSS).
PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION
Under the Direction of the CEO, the Rural Operations Manager is responsible for the day to day management of the Farm Precinct. The role ensures that our Farm Precinct is safe and secure for use across a range of projects, including, maintenance and other compliance requirements of the Farm and other Assets.

SELECTION CRITERIA
Relevant Qualifications and/or 3 years’ Farming experience in a similar role
High leadership ability and the ability to transfer skills and foster positive behaviours.
Current Certificate IV in Training & Assessment or ability to obtain
Ability to ensure that all aspects of the Farm Precinct are operational
Use a range of Microsoft applications to document information or achievement
High level of literacy and digital skills that enable communication, reporting and sharing of information across a range of platforms.
A high level of working knowledge of the NT Work Health and Safety Act
Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks and achieve work in set timeframes/meet deadlines.
NT Current Drivers Licence or the ability to obtain.
Plant, ie Tractor and Heavy Machinery Tickets/Licence
Current NT Ochre Card
Able to demonstrate cultural competency working with local Indigenous people.
