Country Connect Foundation is dedicated to delivering high-quality, culturally responsive supports that enhance the wellbeing and independence of individuals across East Arnhem.
We are seeking a skilled and values-driven Operations Manager to lead our Nhulunbuy programs and partnerships - these include homelessness services, disability supports, employment & youth programs. This is a critical leadership role, overseeing daily operations, mentoring staff, and ensuring high standards of service delivery, compliance, and community engagement.
The role - operations manager
Lead, mentor, and support coordinators and support workers, fostering a positive, culturally safe, and trauma-informed team culture.
Oversee program operations, ensuring compliance with NDIS Practice Standards, legislation, and organisational values.
Drive continuous improvement and innovation in service delivery, with a focus on client outcomes and community impact.
Lead rollout of risk management frameworks, including activity-based and participant-specific risk assessments.
Build strong relationships with participants, families, community leaders, land councils, service providers, and government stakeholders.
Collaborate with allied health professionals and community stakeholders to design innovative programs and group activities.
Manage resources including workforce hours, properties, vehicles, and assets for sustainable operations.
Ensure high standards of record-keeping, reporting, and compliance across HR, WHS, and financial requirements.
What we’re looking for
Proven leadership and mentoring experience in community services, disability, or a related sector.
Strong understanding of risk management, WHS, and trauma-informed practice.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and participate in broader regional conversations.
Experience developing and evaluating group programs and activities.
Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of NDIS service delivery and compliance requirements (highly desirable).
Commitment to culturally safe practice and understanding of remote community contexts.
Allied health qualifications are highly regarded.
Other Requirements
Current Working with Children Clearance (Ochre Card).
NDIS Worker Screening clearance (or ability to obtain).
Willingness to travel regularly across our service regions.
