What You’ll Do

We are looking for a self-driven and passionate QA Engineer who thrives in dynamic environments and ensures the delivery of high-quality software. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both testing and coding, and who can work confidently with complex, integrated applications.

As a QA Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and executing test strategies that ensure reliability, scalability, and performance. You should be comfortable working in an agile environment, while being a strong team player with open and clear communication.

Key Responsibilities

Design and execute end-to-end test strategies for complex, integrated applications.

Develop and maintain manual test cases for API and UI applications.

Perform integration testing.

Validate large datasets and ensure data integrity through advanced testing strategies.

Collaborate within the development team to understand requirements, communicate quality concerns, and ensure delivery standards.

Efficient debugging skills to identify, analyse and understand the root causes of bugs and issues effectively.

What You Bring

7+ years’ experience in Software Testing.

Prior software development experience is highly regarded.

Proven ability to work on complex, large-scale applications.

Strong expertise in manual testing for API and UI.

5+ years’ experience in integration testing.

Hands-on experience with SQL and working with large-scale data validation.

Demonstrated ability to design and execute end-to-end tests.

Excellent team collaboration and communication skills.

A proactive, hands-on approach with a willingness to learn and adapt.

A balance of technical excellence and common sense.

And if you have any of these skills we’d really like to hear from you:

Familiarity with test automation frameworks and scripting.

Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps environments.

Exposure to cloud-based applications and modern tech stacks.

Applicants must have the right to work in Australia and already be based in Perth, WA and prefer to work from office at least 3 days a week.
