Custom Air Group is an established business 33 years strong, specialising in Design, Manufacture, Supply & Installation of Custom, Sleeper Cab Air Conditioning Systems & Customised Sleeper Cabin Fit outs.

We have several divisions that make up our company which cover Design, Metal Fabrication, Assembly, Painting, Installation & Upholstery.

Due to the continued growth of our company, we currently have an opportunity for a Motivated & Suitably Experienced - Spare Parts / Inventory Interpreter to join the team with any of the below preferred qualifications and attributes.

This role is Based at our Wacol, Brisbane Fitout centre & requires a self-motivated, responsible person with excellent Communication skills who is able to work unsupervised and as a part of a team, reporting direct to the General Manager.

In addition, this person will as required be supporting our internal departments with Inventory control.

To be successful, You will possess:

Previous Experience in a similar role or competitor preferred.

Receiving, inspecting and organising parts and components

Maintaining accurate stock records and updating the database accordingly

Processing customer orders, including freight

Tracking movement of inventory, conduct stock counts and identify issues such as damaged or missing parts

Spare Parts or Parts Interpreting essential

Excellent written skills

Computer skills, Microsoft office suite

Myob experience prefered, but not essential.

Forklift ticket - essential

Current driver’s license - mandatory - Manual Preferred

Competent Computer Literacy

Warehouse housekeeping skills

Basic Mechanical aptitude & ability- preferred

Automotive electrical understanding an advantage but not essential.

Be clean & well presented.

Display strong problem solving and decision-making skills.

Be highly motivated, willing to learn and advance yourself.

Previous experience in a similar role (automotive preferred but not essential)

This is a full-time position Monday – Friday with opportunity for overtime.
