About the Role:

We are seeking a qualified Scaffold Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, planning, certifying, overseeing scaffold systems, providing technical support to our operations and site teams for various commercial and industrial projects, and ensuring all structures comply with relevant Australian Standards and Customer Requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review scaffold design drawings and calculations in compliance with Australian Standards.

• Certify scaffold designs and ensure compliance with AS/NZS1576 series, AS/NZS4576 series and WHS Legislation

• Provide technical advice and support to scaffold crews and customers to ensure safe, efficient installations.

• Conduct Inspections and ensure scaffold systems meet safety and design requirements.

• Liaise with clients, site supervisors, and scaffolders to ensure efficient project delivery.

• Maintain accurate documentation and records for all scaffold designs, certifications and approvals.

• Support Scaffold Estimators and Operations Team with Design Input and feasibility checks.

• Conduct Site Inspections and Risk assessments where required.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering (or Civil Engineering).

• Experience in scaffolding design, structural design and temporary works.

• Strong understanding of AS/NZS 1576 Series, AS/NZS4576 series and relevant WHS regulations.

• Proficiency with AutoCAD.

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast paced, hands on environment.
