We have a presence throughout Australia and overseas reaching out to university students, youth and families, as well as a humanitarian strategy. We have more than 150 missionaries with our head office based in Mulgrave, Victoria

The role

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and servant leader to step into the role of Director of Strategies. The role will be full time.

The role will report into our National Director and join our National Leadership Team, strengthening and advancing Power to Change’s mission. The purpose of this role is to oversee the Strategies of Power to Change so that they launch and lead disciple-making movements across Australia and beyond.

Your responsibilities

Promote growth and development of each Strategy.

Support opportunities for internal collaboration between the Strategies for their mutual growth and development.

Encourage, develop and maintain strategic partnerships with churches and Christian organisations on behalf of Power to Change.

Ensure the alignment of the overall ministry by regularly meeting with the National Director and Capacity Director, including strategic planning.

Develop and implement administrative and operational guidelines for each Strategy, and analyse and resolve complex management issues as they arise.

Provide pastoral care, accountability and oversight of budgets for National Strategy Directors.

Lead a regular National Strategy Directors sub-team meeting and help set the agenda for National Leadership Team meetings, for managing the organisation’s strategies.

About you

Be able to provide high-level administration and operational support.

Experience with team leadership in a local or national context.

Spiritually mature and demonstrates a deep relationship with God and leadership that is reflective of walking in the power of the Holy Spirit.

Embraces the role of a servant-leader, prioritising the development and well-being of teams.

Displays a focus on the mission over the method and process.

Exceptional ability to articulate a clear vision for the whole ministry, with a clear vision for the whole ministry.

Thrives in team-oriented environments and excels in building partnerships that strengthen ministry impact.
