Why This Role Could Be Perfect for You

You'll play a vital part in ensuring the accuracy, integrity and timeliness of financial data while supporting both the Finance and Operational teams. This role offers variety from reporting and compliance to partnering across the business to enhance systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain the accuracy and integrity of financial data within the Pronto accounting system.
  · Prepare monthly management reports and provide insightful variance analysis.
  · Perform balance-sheet reconciliations and inter-company reconciliations.
  · Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
  · Support budgeting, forecasting and cashflow management.
  · Maintain the fixed asset register, including additions, disposals and transfers.
  · Assist with BAS, FBT, payroll tax and other compliance obligations.
  · Contribute to process improvements, automation and ERP system enhancements.
  · Partner with Finance, Commercial and Operational teams to provide clear financial insights.

What We're Looking For

✔ Qualifications: Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance or Commerce (CA/CPA)
✔ Experience: Minimum 3 years in a similar role, ideally in Mining Services or Manufacturing.
✔ Systems: Proficiency in Pronto preferred but not essential and strong Excel skills.
✔ Attributes:
· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
· High attention to detail and accuracy.
· Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach.
· Proven ability to improve processes and systems
