About the role

MIB Project is seeking a highly skilled and versatile Multi Skilled Machine Operator to join our team at BHP Newman, WA.

In this 7:7 (or possibly 14:7) roster, you will be responsible for operating a variety of construction equipment and machinery to support our ongoing projects in the area.

Your expertise and adaptability will be essential in ensuring the efficient and safe completion of our work.

What you'll be doing

Operate a range of construction equipment and machinery, including excavators loaders, tippers and posi track to complete various tasks on site

Perform routine maintenance and pre-start checks on all equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety

Work collaboratively with the wider construction team to coordinate activities and contribute to the overall success of the project

Adhere to all relevant safety protocols and environmental regulations to maintain a safe and compliant worksite

Demonstrate a strong commitment to quality, productivity, and continuous improvement

What we're looking for

Extensive experience as a multi-skilled machine operator, with a proven track record of operating a diverse range of construction equipment

Relevant qualifications, including a valid Heavy Vehicle Driver's Licence and competency certificates for the operation of specific plant and machinery

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a safe and organised work environment

Effective communication skills, with the ability to liaise with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels
