Il Solito Posto is an iconic, well-established, busy Italian Restaurant in Melbourne's CBD and we are recruiting for a Bartender.

Applicants should be well presented, hard-working and with a great attitude, ready to join a dynamic and long-established Front of House Team.

About the Role

The job tasks and responsibilities will include:

Prepare cocktails and other beverages to a consistently high standard.

Ensure responsible service of alcohol requirements are always adhered to.

A current RSA certificate must be obtained within 30 days of starting.

Ensure beverage areas are clean, maintained to a high standard, and comply with health regulations.

Work as part of a team and achieve team outcomes.

The applicant must be available to work evenings & Saturdays. No super late nights with a usual finishing time before midnight.

Il Solito Posto is currently closed on a Sunday.

There is room for growth within the business and the potential to move into a management role.

Qualifications and Experience Required

The position is available for applicants with a minimum 2 years bar experience, including a sound knowledge of cocktail, beverage & coffee making.

A solid knowledge of wine is welcomed but not essential as regular training is provided in-house.

Australian work authorisation is required for this position.
