Stainless Tube Welder – Piping Installation
Location: Somerton, Victoria
Duration: 3-month project with opportunity for full-time work
Hours: Mon–Fri 6am-2pm (OT & occasional Saturdays)
Baillie Industries is seeking an experienced Stainless Tube Welder to assist with the installation of new stainless process piping at our Somerton site. The work involves all new pipework, fabricated and installed on structural pipe supports.
Key Responsibilities
TIG welding and fit-up of stainless tube (non-sanitary service)
Installation of new stainless pipe systems to drawings and site measurements
Work as part of a small, skilled team delivering complete mechanical installs
Ensure quality and traceability in line with Baillie’s ISO-aligned QA and ITP systems
About You
Trade qualified welder or pipefitter
Strong TIG welding skills on stainless tube
Experience with mechanical and piping installs
Ability to read and work from drawings
Forklift licence advantageous
