The Role:

An opportunity exists for a Qualified MIG / TIG Welder to join their fabrication division for immediate start. Hours are 7am-3.30pm Monday to Friday and 7am - 1pm Friday (early finish). Some flexibility of hours may be available after initial commencement. The role is a mix between MIG and TIG welding with high volumes daily.

the position is a Temporary role to cover someone on carers leave.

Tasks

An autonomous role working with high-end custom built products

Responsible for MIG / TIG Welding production

Welding of automotive parts

Welding repairs/upgrades for stillages and similar

Responsible for own quality of workmanship

Meet production requirements daily

Provide support, assisting in fabrication as required.

Skills and experience

MUST have current MIG and TIG welding experience in high production

Tig welding experience in custom jobs

Proficient in reading technical drawings

Production management experience (desired)

Previous manufacturing/assembly factory maintenance experience

Fabrication experience

Experience with steel, sheetmetal, aluminium, finishing or cutting would be an advantage

Must have own weld shield and steel toe boots

Forklift licence (desired but not essential)

Must have drivers licence

Hard working, reliable, team player

Possess excellent attitude and no job too small
