Who are we looking for?
In short, a proven Sales performer with a track record of consistently meeting revenue targets. This highly motivated and performance-driven Sales professional will join our team in Melbourne in a full-time role from our Campus/Head Office.
The ideal candidate will come with at least 3 years experience in face-to-face and/or phone sales, excellent customer service skills and the ability to support both managers and colleagues in achieving individual/team targets.

About the position
The position is full-time (37.5hrs) commencing ASAP and is based at our head office in Caulfield South. Working hours to be confirmed between 8:30am – 6pm Monday to Friday.
Base salary $70,000 + uncapped Commission (OTE $100k+) + Superannuation
The responsibilities of the role include:
Managing sales enquiries - receiving and handling sales calls and emails, arranging and conducting meetings with potential students, converting enquiries to sales
Achieving monthly targets (individual and team)
Assist with Sales Manager's responsibilities when required, including managing inbound payments/receipts, lead allocation, updating email templates/lead sequences and more
Upsell additional products to current students and graduates (including Fitness, Pilates, Professional Development courses and more)
Maintaining sales records, tracking and following up leads using our CRM (HubSpot)
Working with the Administration team to facilitate the enrolment process for each student, including taking payments, sending and approving forms and setting up direct debits
Providing outstanding customer service while assisting people to create a career in fitness and wellness
Representing AFA at trade shows, career expos and industry events
Work with other departments to increase efficiencies and profitability for the business
The Key Selection Criteria include:
At least 3 years' experience in a similar Sales role, including a proven track record of achieving high sales targets (preferably within an educational organisation or the fitness industry)
The ability to align with the culture and vision of AFA, including the capacity to work autonomously and contribute to a positive team environment
Australian citizens or permanent residents only are eligible to apply for this position
Experience using a CRM (ideally Hubspot) and other software including Adobe and Microsoft programs
Excellent communication, critical thinking and customer service skills
Strong attention to detail and administrative skills
A genuine interest in helping people to create a career in the fitness industry
