Executive Chef – George's Paragon (Gold Coast)
The Gold Coast's most iconic restaurant, George's Paragon, is seeking a creative, experienced and highly motivated Executive Chef to lead our culinary team across our dual locations in Coolangatta and Sanctuary Cove.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a talented team of chefs and kitchen staff, ensuring excellence, consistency and quality across both venues.
Experience managing teams of 30+ staff members across multiple locations.
Train, mentor and develop team members to enhance their culinary techniques and professional growth.
Oversee day-to-day kitchen operations, including inventory, workflow and cost control.
Ensure full compliance with all health, safety and food hygiene standards.
Requirements:
Minimum five years' experience as an Executive Chef in a high-volume or fine dining environment.
Specialised experience in seafood cuisine is essential for this role.
Proven leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and guide a team.
Strong organisational and time management abilities, capable of thriving in a high-pressure environment.
Must already reside locally on the Gold Coast (no relocation applicants).
Full Australian driver's licence and unrestricted working rights in Australia.
