Your experience with us
At Gleeson College, we are a dynamic, faith-filled community where passion meets purpose. Nestled in Adelaide’s northeast, our coeducational Catholic college thrives on the spirit of unity embodied in our motto: With One Heart.
Our students are supported by a wide range of learning pathways, contemporary facilities, and innovative programs through our ONE+ Campus partnership – but it’s our staff who bring this vision to life.
What truly sets Gleeson apart is our people. Our staff are not just exceptional in their roles – they're mentors, collaborators, and innovators who foster a culture of inclusivity, respect, and joy. It is no surprise that many who experience Gleeson College are drawn to the strong relationships and supportive environment that define our college.
We believe that happy staff make a thriving school. Our Gleeson College Staff values capture this – each day at work we find joy, use creativity, exemplify professionalism and are positive, relational and respectful. We prioritise wellbeing through our incorporated Staff Wellbeing Framework, found on our Working With Us webpage. We also value and actively encourage personal and professional development.
This is also reflected in how we invest in staff. Every individual is encouraged to grow and thrive, and that includes ongoing professional development opportunities. Staff can connect with our free and confidential counselling with our Employee Assistance Program, receive annual leave loading of 17.5%, and have access to generous paid & unpaid parental leave and salary sacrificing. And because we are a community With One Heart, expect regular morning teas, actively participate in College Life (Sports Carnivals and Gleeson Days) and join activities hosted by our Staff Association!
