We are actively seeking an Account/Claims Manager for the General Liability team within a leading global provider of legal and business services in Sydney.

The role:

• Manage your own portfolio of general liability claims end-to-end
• Receive guidance from seasoned Senior Account Managers
• Assess new claims, determine investigations, and advise clients on optimal claims strategies
• Liaise with insurers, clients, and external experts, including solicitors, loss adjusters, and forensic accountants, ensuring compliance with company and client protocols
• Analyse documentation to establish policy compliance and investigate potential fraudulent activity
• Prepare cost estimates, maintain accurate reserves, and ensure all claims data is recorded accurately
• Adhere to legal requirements and industry regulations

About you:

• Previous experience in insurance, claims, or a legal environment managing general and/or product liability claims
• A completed legal qualification or general insurance experience is desirable (training provided)
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and decision-making skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks efficiently
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a client-focused mindset
• IT literate and comfortable with claims/document management systems
• Confident liaising with clients, insurers, and stakeholders
