About the Role
You'll provide basic foot care services such as nail trimming, skin care, and general foot health checks to low-risk patients in their homes, under the supervision and clinical direction of our podiatrists.

What You'll Do

Under the supervision and clinical guidance of our podiatrists, you'll:

Provide routine nail care and basic foot care to low-risk clients

Conduct skin integrity assessments

Follow individualised care plans developed by the podiatrist

Recognise and escalate any concerns to the supervising podiatrist

Maintain accurate client records

Build rapport with clients and provide compassionate, person-centred care

Communicate effectively with clients and the podiatry team

What You'll Need

We welcome applications from:

Registered Nurses with current AHPRA registration, OR

Assistants in Nursing (Certificate III in Individual Support - Ageing/Home & Community), OR

Allied Health Assistants (Certificate III/IV in Allied Health Assistance), OR

Healthcare professionals with relevant care experience and willingness to train

Essential requirements:

Current National Police Check

Current Working with Children Check

Current Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check (if applicable to client base)

Current driver's licence and reliable vehicle

Confidence to work independently in community settings

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Genuine interest in preventative health and aged care

Empathy, patience, and respect for diverse clients

Current First Aid certificate (or willingness to obtain before commencing)

Unrestricted right to work in Australia

Experience in foot care is NOT essential comprehensive training and ongoing clinical supervision will be provided by our podiatry team.
