About Us:
Belair National Park Holiday Park is a family-owned and operated business located 13km from the Adelaide CBD, within the beautiful Southern Adelaide Hills. Set within Belair National Park, we offer a range of accommodation, including cabins, cottages, glamping tents, and campsites. We're a small team of 8 who work together to create a fun, safe and welcoming environment for our guests.

About the Role:
We are looking for a reliable and physically fit Grounds Person / All-Rounder to join our team on a casual basis. This is a hands-on, varied role with approximately 30 hours per week, including weekend shifts. Flexible scheduling is available for the right candidate, and there is potential for the role to become permanent. Pay will be offered commensurate with experience.

Key Responsibilities:

General grounds maintenance – mowing, weeding, leaf blowing, raking, bin cleaning

BBQ and outdoor area cleaning

Deep cleaning of amenities and guest accommodation when required

Basic maintenance and handywork (e.g. light bulb changes, light carpentry)

Pool upkeep during summer

Firewood preparation and delivery (winter)

Assisting with housekeeping tasks

What We're Looking For:

1–2 years' experience in groundskeeping, maintenance or similar outdoor roles

Trade qualifications in carpentry, plumbing, electrical, or general maintenance highly desirable and will be taken into account when determining the hourly rate offered

Demonstrated experience confidently operating ride-on mowers, hedge trimmers, and leaf blowers

Physically fit – work outdoors in all conditions, and be on your feet for extended periods

Great work ethic and positive attitude

Ability to work independently and co-operatively as part of a small team

Strong customer service skills – you'll be interacting with guests regularly

Availability across a 7-day roster (including weekends)

Requirements:

Valid Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)

National Police Check

Legal right to work in Australia

Current First Aid certificate (or willingness to obtain)
