We are looking for an Optical Assistant/Receptionist to join our tight knit team. This is an opportunity for you to join a practice that values eye health and excellent customer service above all else. You’ll be working alongside a dedicated and supportive team of optical dispensers and optometrists in a high end busy practice. This role offers hands-on experience in optics and is ideal for someone who sees their future in the optical industry.

You will be the first person our patients see when they arrive instore, so you’ll need to have a welcoming, approachable manner and excellent verbal and written communication skills. It is essential that you have previous retail experience in a customer facing role.

Your role will include:

Welcoming our customers into store

Assisting patients with frame selection and providing product information

Reception tasks- including taking payments, answering calls, booking appointments and preparing banking

Conducting preliminary testing prior to a patient’s eye exam
