Speech Pathologist (Part/ Full-Time)

About the Role

We are seeking a vibrant, motivated, and neuroaffirming Speech Pathologist to join our team in either a part-time or full-time capacity. Our clinic, located in the Geelong region, provides speech pathology services to children and adolescents. We pride ourselves on nurturing a team that is passionate, creative, and dedicated to enhancing communication development for children and their families. About Our Clinic

Interact Speech Pathology is a well-established private practice based in Geelong, co-located with Think Psychology. This enables a collaborative, multidisciplinary approach for clients receiving services from both practices.

Our clinicians are trained in a range of evidence-based programs including Hanen (It Takes Two to Talk, More Than Words, Talkability), Social Thinking, PEERS, Lidcombe Stuttering Program, Sounds-Write, and Read3 literacy programs. We actively support clinicians to pursue their professional interests.

Our caseload includes children aged 1–17 years. Therapy services are primarily clinic-based, with some sessions conducted in schools or via Telehealth.

We are well-resourced with assessment tools, therapy materials, and administrative support. Our admin team assists with bookings, payments, and client communication, allowing clinicians to focus on clinical care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based speech pathology assessment and intervention for children and adolescents.

• Collaborate with families, schools, and multidisciplinary professionals to support communication goals.

• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation and reports.

• Participate in supervision, team meetings, and professional development opportunities.

• Advocate for clients’ communication needs across home, school, and community settings.

Essential Criteria

• Tertiary qualifications in Speech Pathology (Graduate or Postgraduate level).

• Current membership with Speech Pathology Australia.

• Current Working With Children Check.

• Current Australian Driver’s Licence.

• Eligibility for Medicare provider registration.

• Experience and/or interest in working with autistic children

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Empathetic, caring, and able to relate to clients, carers, and colleagues.

• Strong time management and organisational skills.

• Commitment to professional learning and teamwork.

Availability and Application

We are seeking a Speech Pathologist who can commence from late December or mid-January. Salary will be negotiated based on experience.
