About Us:

Speech To You provides community, clinic and telehealth speech pathology services to adults with disabilities funded by the NDIS. Our team consists of 6 Speech Pathologists and 1 Business Development Manager. We are also strongly affiliated with 'The Real Eat' Dietitian's and 'Occupational Therapy At Home' Occupational Therapists. We support a wide range of conditions including acquired (stroke, MND, PD) and developmental (ASD, cerebral palsy) conditions.

About You:

Passionate about helping clients achieve their communication and swallow safety goals

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with clients and families

Proactive, motivated, and eager to learn professional

Excellent time management, navigation and organisational skills to manage a varied caseload

Confident communicator with strong written and verbal skills for reports and client interactions

Committed to evidence-based practice and continuous professional development

Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

Compassionate and client-centred in all aspects of care

Proficient in using technology for documentation and telehealth services

Orientation & Perks:

$500 annual Professional Development budget

1:1 shadowing with a senior Speech Pathologist during orientation + ad-hoc on-going

Weekly supervision and mentoring with a senior Speech Pathologist

Join "Case Collab" 1x/week to discuss clinical cases with the team

5x paid multidisciplinary shadow sessions per year of your choice (SP, DT and/or OT)

Pay rises based on experience level

A Typical Day:

Provide therapy and assessment services either from home, in our office, online or within the community

Deliver evidence-based interventions and complete comprehensive assessments and reports

Support NDIS participants to achieve their communication and swallowing goals

Attend and contribute to videofluoroscopic swallow studies as required with a qualified VFSS clinician

Develop and implement tailored resources, including Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC)

Collaborate closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic client care

Engage in regular mentoring, clinical supervision, and debriefing sessions to support professional growth

Location:

Base yourself at your home or at our Cheltenham office

Requirements:

Degree in Speech Pathology

Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle

Access to computer and phone

Contractor Rates:

New Graduate (<12 months): $65/hour + 12.0% super = $87,360

Grade 1 (1+ year): $70/hour + 12.0% super = $94,080

Grade 2 (2+ years): $75/hour + 12.0% super = $100,800
