About the role

Biloela Early Learning Centre seeks a passionate and experienced Lead Educator who is Diploma Qualified to join our dedicated team in Biloela, Queensland. In this full-time role, you will lead a team of educators and provide high-quality care and education for children aged 0-5.

What you'll be doing

Plan and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate educational programs that support the physical, social, emotional and cognitive development of children

Mentor and support a team of educators, guiding them in the delivery of exceptional care and educational experiences

Maintain a safe, welcoming and inclusive learning environment that meets all regulatory requirements

Collaborate with parents and families to understand and meet the unique needs of each child

Observe, document and assess children's progress, using this information to inform future programming

Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all relevant childcare regulations

Actively participate in professional development opportunities to continuously improve your skills and knowledge

What we're looking for

Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent

Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate and develop a team of educators

Strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with children, families and the broader community

Passion for early childhood education and a commitment to providing the best possible outcomes for children

Working with Children Check and First Aid certification
