About the Company
This organisation is a well-established construction and civil contractor, delivering projects across Sydney and regional NSW. They have built a strong reputation for quality delivery, teamwork, and a commitment to maintaining high safety standards across all sites.
With a growing portfolio of projects and a diverse workforce, they are now looking to appoint a WHS Administrator to support and ensure WHS standards remain high and consistent across each of their projects. Working from their head office in West Hoxton, you will provide day-to-day administrative support to the WHS Manager and help ensure safety systems and documentation are managed efficiently.
About the Role
This is a newly created role, ideal for someone with strong administrative experience within the construction space, with either experience or a keen interest in Health and Safety. You'll be part of a small, friendly team where communication and teamwork are key.
Duties
- Maintain and update WHS documentation, registers, and safety databases.
- Assist with the coordination of inductions, training records, and compliance documentation.
- Prepare and format reports, meeting minutes, and safety communications.
- Support the Safety Manager in monitoring site reports, audit results, and action plans.
- Liaise with site-based safety officers and project teams to ensure consistent communication.
- Assist with general office administration as required.
Skills & Experience
- Strong administration experience, ideally within construction, civil, or HSEQ-related roles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, to work effectively with diverse teams.
- High attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety is highly regarded but not essential.
- A proactive attitude and the ability to hit the ground running in a fast-paced environment.
