As an Irrigation Operator, you’ll be responsible for the accurate and timely delivery of all irrigation programs across the farm. You’ll monitor and manage the irrigation channels, systems, and infrastructure to ensure water availability, system reliability, and crop health are consistently optimised.

Key responsibilities include:

Execute and monitor farm irrigation programs accurately and on schedule.

Manage and maintain irrigation channels and infrastructure to ensure optimal performance.

Implement irrigation plans to maximise crop yield and health.

Record and report water usage from all sources.

Identify and report issues affecting irrigation reliability or efficiency.

Participate in rostered checks of systems, infrastructure, and dams.

Oversee site access and security, including locking/unlocking gates and sheds.

Ensure accurate completion of timesheets and liaison with external contractors.

Uphold company policies, safe work practices, and environmental standards.

Contribute ideas and improvements to support innovation and operational efficiency.
