Little Stars Shepparton is currently seeking multiple passionate and experienced Diploma Qualified Early Educator to join the team and help children shine brightly.

Little Stars Shepparton is a thriving community based childcare centre.

We wish to hear from interested passionate Diploma Qualified Educators who display a strong work ethic, with a high level of written and verbal communication skills, along with the capacity to work independently and within a team environment.

This role requires:

Assist in preparing and setting up engaging learning environments, educational resources, and play materials.

Support the planning and delivery of age-appropriate activities that encourage curiosity, creativity, and discovery.

Foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues, creating a genuine sense of belonging and trust.

Guide children’s behaviour through patience, encouragement, and role modelling of positive interactions.

Supervise and engage children during daily routines, indoor and outdoor play, and group experiences.

Promote and maintain high standards of hygiene, safety, and wellbeing for all children in care.

Communicate effectively with families and team members to ensure consistent, transparent, and supportive care.

Candidate Requirements:

Current Working with Children’s Check.

Relevant Diploma qualification

Current First Aid, CPR Certificates.

Anaphylaxis, and Asthma certificates

2 years’ experience working within an early childhood setting (preferred),

Proven experience in a similar role.

Passion, enthusiasm and a strong commitment to high quality care.

A demonstrated understanding of:

National Quality Framework (NQF),

Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF),

Child Protection & Safe Standards Training,

Workplace Health & Safety issues,

The ability to form warm and responsive relationships with children,

Ability to work and contribute to a team environment.
