About us

We are a private Maxillofacial clinic who seeks to provide the full scope of Maxillofacial surgery - including Head and Neck and Reconstructive Surgery to the community. Our rooms are located in Adelaide city and we also consult at Salisbury twice/month.

Our practice is dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care and maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and integrity.

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our tight-knit team as a full-time Personal Assistant at our private Maxillofacial clinic. In this pivotal role, you will provide comprehensive administrative and organisational support to Dr James Badlani with a focus on theatre administration.

What you'll be doing

Working alongside our other PA to complete:

Patient correspondence including booking appointments, answering phones, emails and sending of surgeon correspondence to referrers and other doctors

Clinical paperwork including patient quotes and referrals

Accounts and billing - processing receipts and bill payment health funds through Gentu

Running patient clinics including room preparation, patient liaison, consult billing and coordinating follow up scans

You will also enjoy the autonomy of being solely responsible for:

Managing and coordinating all theatre lists

Managing all implant hardware and associated surgical equipment required for clinical cases

Coordinate with third-party suppliers to source and prepare necessary hardware

What we're looking for

Proven experience as a Personal Assistant within a healthcare environment (essential)

Excellent organisational and time management skills; demonstrating a proactive approach and the ability to prioritise tasks and work under pressure

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with a range of stakeholders, particularly patients

Proficient in using Microsoft Office suite and various office technologies. A working knowledge of Gentu is highly desirable

Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in your work

Discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive information
