About the role

Join the Finance team at Villeroy & Boch as a PART TIME Finance Management Accountant in our offices located in Alexandria, NSW. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day financial operations and administration to support the overall financial management of the business in a PART TIME capacity 21 HOURS PER WEEK.

What you'll be doing

Manage the accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments and collections including payroll function & basic HR functions.

Prepare and review financial statements, reports and analysis to support decision making

Oversee the general ledger and ensure all transactions are accurately recorded

Assist with the month-end and year-end close processes

Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to resolve financial queries and issues

Implement and maintain financial policies, processes and controls to ensure compliance

Support the Finance team with ad-hoc projects and other duties as required

What we're looking for

Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance CPA / CA.

5+ years' experience in a finance administration or accounting role, preferably within a wholesaling, retail or consumer goods environment

Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate financial records

Proficient in using financial systems and software, including SAP, ADP Payroll, Salesforce

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with stakeholders

Adaptable and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Commitment to continuous improvement and identifying ways to enhance financial processes
