Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Electrical Engineering Assistant to join our Engineering team. This role is critical in supporting technical inquiries, preparing accurate quotations, managing technical documentation, and ensuring alignment with project requirements and relevant standards. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong sense of responsibility, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Price Quotation and Profit Analysis: Prepare price quotations for electrical cable products and conduct profitability analysis.

• Customer Requirement Analysis: Understand and analyse customer requirements to ensure full alignment with relevant standards and specifications.

• Technical Support: Provide accurate and timely technical support to internal teams and external customers in a professional manner.

• Technical Documentation: Draft, update, and manage technical datasheets, specifications, and other related documents.

• Supplier and Internal Coordination: Liaise with suppliers and internal departments to ensure effective technical alignment.

• Verification of Technical Parameters: Ensure all technical data and parameters meet the required standards and are correctly implemented.

• Order Processing: Handle and process customer orders efficiently and accurately.

Requirements:

• Attention to Detail: Ability to meticulously check and verify information.

• Responsibility: A strong sense of responsibility and reliability.

• Independence: Capable of working independently without constant supervision.

• Software Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with AutoCAD is highly desirable.

• Knowledge of Australian Standards: Familiarity with Australian standards is preferred.

• Communication Skills: Excellent reading, writing, and verbal communication skills in English.

• Educational Background: A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

• Language Proficiency: Strong command of English, with proficiency in Mandarin for communication purposes.
