We are currently seeking a Skilled Trade Assistant (TA) to join our team on a full-time basis. This position offers a minimum of 45 hours per week, primarily located at Fremantle Ports Outer Harbour (Kwinana), with a strong focus on civil works and infrastructure maintenance. Reporting to the Leading Hand or Site Supervisor, you will work collaboratively with our team of experienced tradespeople to deliver safe, efficient, and high-quality project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Support maintenance and civil construction activities

Undertake manual labour and trade-related tasks under supervision

Participate in daily pre-start meetings and complete all required safety documentation

Accurately complete JSA, Take 5s, Hot Works Permits, and client-specific permits

Comply with all safety protocols and implement best practices on site

Follow Enviro Infrastructure’s internal procedures and regulatory requirements

Conduct daily pre-start equipment checks and operate machinery in line with SOPs

Attend training sessions and toolbox meetings to support ongoing development

Supply and maintain personal hand tools and battery-operated tools in line with company requirements

Scope of Works

Demolition and earthmoving

Hardstand and concrete works

Fencing installation and maintenance

Paving and surface works

Operating and spotting construction machinery

General labouring and site maintenance

Essential Requirements

White Card (Construction Induction Training)

National Police Clearance

Current driver’s licence and reliable transport

Valid First Aid Certificate

Ability to pass regular drug and alcohol screening

Own personal hand and battery tools

Basic computer and digital literacy

Willingness to work occasional night and weekend shifts as required

Desirable Qualifications & Experience

High-risk work licences (e.g. EWP, Working at Heights)

Machinery operating tickets

Previous experience in concrete and civil construction
