Appliance Services Australia specialises in corporate appliance servicing and repairs. Based in Moorabbin, we’re seeking a motivated Commercial Kitchen & Catering Equipment Service Technician to join our close-knit team and support a growing portfolio of commercial clients in the hospitality, education, healthcare, and corporate sectors.

Our team provides preventative maintenance, repairs and installations across a wide range of appliances and cooking equipment

With an extensive list of commercial and corporate customers, you will not only upskill as a Service Technician, but you will work in a role where no two days are the same.

What You’ll Be Doing

Conducting routine maintenance, breakdown repairs, and installations on commercial kitchen and catering equipment.

Diagnosing faults across electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems.

Liaising directly with customers on-site to provide updates and recommendations.

Maintaining accurate records of service reports and parts usage.

What You Need to Succeed

Proven background as a Service Technician within the commercial kitchen, catering, or appliance industry.

Experience with brands such as Moffat, Washtech, Meiko, Middelby, Hobart, Electrolux or Miele highly regarded.

Ability to work autonomously with strong customer-facing and communication skills.

Solid fault-finding, troubleshooting, and repair ability.

Organised and reliable, with attention to detail and safety.

Current driver’s licence and relevant trade qualification

Restricted Electrical Licence or a D Licence

Relevant Mechanical fitter qualifications/licences (electrical, plumbing, or mechanical background desirable).

Licensed to Service Type A gas appliances
