Our family-owned and operated textiles and accessories business is seeking to employ an experienced storeperson at our head office in Moorabbin.

The Role

Daily tasks may include, but are not limited to:

Picking and packing orders accurately

Sending out and receiving local freight

Unloading containers, including the lifting and carrying of boxes and fabric rolls up to 25 kg

Utilising warehouse lift equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, to safely load and unload goods as well as move, lift, or stack merchandise as needed

Storing incoming items appropriately

Stock counting and replenishment

Maintaining a clean and tidy warehouse

Quality control

Requirements of the Role

The right candidate will exhibit the following:

Warehouse experience essential

Forklift license mandatory

Excellent work ethic

Strong attention to detail

Effective organisational and time management skills

Preparedness to follow direction in order to adhere to company standards

Ability to work both autonomously and as part of our small and tight-knit staff

Willingness to learn and grow

Experience working in small businesses beneficial

Permanent Australian residency a must

Operating hours

Monday to Friday, 8:30am-4:30pm
