Do you want a later start & regular daytime hours from 9.30 am - 6 pm Mon-Fri in a clean well organised, local warehouse?

Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor your key functions will be as a Team Lead in Dispatch:

Manage the Dispatch area team & workflow. Lead the team in packing a diverse range of items from small to large, including complex configurations requiring a "Tetris-like" approach with consideration, care, sustainability, and a strong customer focus.

Supervise the pick/pack team from 4pm - 6pm and complete lock-up procedures

Responsible for safety tasks in the packing area (manual handling, pallet jacks/wrapper, forklift)

Correctly label goods and organise for freight forwarders

Document and systemise dispatch tasks/procedures.

Pick & Receive goods as required, including on occasion, container unload

Forklift driving

Do customer deliveries in automatic work van at times

Exceed customer’s expectations in relation to deliveries by creating WOW experiences.

Be passionate about early educational products and be supportive of early educators

Collaborate with the operational team to attain DIFOT standards.

Additional general warehouse storeperson functions as required.

You're an experienced warehouse storeperson:

5 years of experience as a warehouse all-rounder including experience in receiving (inward goods)

Forklift licence

Natural leadership qualities or experience in leadership

Experience in dispatch, adept at handling a diverse range of packing items from small to large. Proven ability to pack with consideration, care, sustainability, and a strong customer focus.

A safety-first mentality

Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential

Reliable, resilient and motivated, with high levels of enthusiasm, energy and resourcefulness

Attention to detail for quality control

Must be able to problem solve, act quickly, be mentally flexible

Self-motivation & a growth mindset with a continual improvement focus for themselves and the business

Proven team collaboration skills to support team goals and outcomes.

Have a track record of delivering on agreed actions, goals or other targets and objectives

Ability to manage time effectively, prioritise their work and work autonomously
