Our client is looking for an Identity Engineer to join their newly established Identity & Access Management function. This is a hands-on engineering role focused on building and delivering identity services across a hybrid environment.

With strong backing from leadership and a clear mandate to uplift security, you’ll be instrumental in implementing new tools and automation across user lifecycle, privileged access, and governance.

Responsibilities:

• Implement and maintain identity platforms and integrations across cloud and on-prem;
• Drive automation of identity workflows using scripting and API integrations;
• Support tool selection and rollout across IGA and PAM environments;
• Collaborate with stakeholders across security, IT, HR, and compliance functions; and
• Contribute to the development of processes, policies, and operational controls.

Requirements:

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD, including SSO, PIM, and provisioning;
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting (Java exposure a plus);
• Experience with IGA tools (e.g. SailPoint, Saviynt, Oracle Identity);
• Experience with PAM tools such as CyberArk, BeyondTrust, or Dell EMEA;
• Knowledge of hybrid identity environments and application onboarding;
• Familiarity with compliance requirements (e.g. APRA, ISO27001); and
• Previous experience in greenfield or IAM uplift environments highly regarded.
