An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Lead Network Engineer to join a highly respected technology organisation in Sydney. This is a senior role within the Hybrid Cloud Networks & Carriers team, where you'll design, manage, and optimise carrier-grade networks that power mission-critical platforms.

What you'll do

• Design, build, and manage robust network infrastructure with a primary focus on Cisco and Palo Alto technologies.
• Apply your knowledge of EVPN to deliver scalable, high-performance network solutions.
• Oversee monitoring, automation, capacity planning, and installations.
• Participate in a shared on-call roster for critical network escalations.

What you bring

• Extensive experience with carrier-level networking in ISP/MSP/Systems Integrator environments.
• Strong expertise across Cisco and Palo Alto, with additional exposure to Juniper, Arista, F5, and Checkpoint.
• Experience working with Australian carriers and cloud providers (AWS, Azure).
• Knowledge of automation (Ansible, Puppet, Python) and monitoring platforms.
• Proven EVPN knowledge and implementation experience.
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with excellent communication across all levels.
