Develop and execute a forward-looking digital and data strategy aligned with research and organisational goals.

Oversee the project to assess migration potential to scalable, secure, and sustainable cloud infrastructure.

Build and maintain cutting-edge platforms that enable AI, data analytics, and high-performance computing for research.

Champion cybersecurity, privacy, and governance across all digital environments.

Collaborate with researchers, clinicians, and external partners to ensure digital tools enhance scientific discovery and translation.

Lead and inspire a skilled, multidisciplinary technology team focused on innovation, collaboration, and delivery excellence.

Foster a culture of continuous improvement and digital capability growth across the Institute.

This is a full-time, ongoing executive appointment based at the Perth Children’s Hospital in Nedlands, WA.

About You

You’re a strategic and collaborative technology leader with a strong background in driving digital transformation within complex, knowledge-rich environments such as research, healthcare, or higher education. Demonstrated experience leading enterprise-wide digital transformation and infrastructure modernisation.

A strong understanding of data governance, cybersecurity, and compliance in research or health settings.

Experience enabling AI, machine learning, or advanced analytics in support of scientific or organisational objectives.

Exceptional leadership skills with a track record of building and motivating high-performing teams.

Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities, with the ability to influence at all levels.

A forward-thinking mindset that embraces innovation and drives positive change.
