About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Credit Officer to join our team.

The Credit Officer will be responsible for assessing and analyzing credit applications, managing credit risk, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical abilities, and a proven track record of success in credit analysis.

Responsibilities:

Evaluate credit applications and make recommendations for approval or denial

Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and other relevant information to assess creditworthiness

Manage credit risk by monitoring credit limits, reviewing credit reports, and identifying potential credit issues

Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as regulatory requirements

Communicate credit decisions to customers and internal stakeholders

Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to resolve credit-related issues

Maintain accurate and up-to-date credit files and documentation

Provide support and guidance to other team members as needed

Required skills and qualifications:

Qualifications in finance, accounting, or a related field

1+ years of experience in credit analysis or a related field

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications

Knowledge of credit policies and procedures, as well as regulatory requirements
