About the Role
We’re seeking a hands-on Trade Assistant to join our Modifications Team. The role involves assisting with the fabrication, fit-out, and refurbishment of shipping containers — turning them into everything from offices and workshops to lunchrooms and ablution blocks.
If you’re practical, confident with tools, and enjoy a variety of work, this role offers plenty of opportunity to grow with us.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in cutting, joining, and welding steel components

Support internal fit-outs – installing framing, insulation, linings, and fixtures

Operate power tools such as grinders, saws, drills, and welders

Perform painting and finishing on modified containers

Maintain a clean and safe workshop environment

Help with loading/unloading containers and materials (forklift experience a plus)

About You

Confident using power tools (essential)

Welding experience required (qualification not necessary, but MIG welding preferred)

Forklift license or experience operating forklifts highly regarded

Physically fit and comfortable working both indoors and outdoors

Reliable, motivated, and a strong team player

Committed to safety and producing high-quality work
