We are seeking a motivated and organised assembly technician / production coordinator to join our growing team in Toowoomba. Red Bolt Engineering is going through an exciting growth period and has the need for someone to lead our projects through the production phase. This role will suit someone with strong organisational skills, a proactive approach, diverse industry background, and experience in project coordination during the procurement, fabrication, coating and assembly phases of our projects.

About the Role:

Reporting to the senior management team, you will play a key role in supporting the growth of Red Bolt Engineering and ensure the successful delivery of projects. On the back of the Engineering team, you will coordinate fabrication and coating of various projects while also assembling the final items for delivery and commissioning. The successful applicant will be exposed to projects of various sizes and across multiple industries. Long term, this role will suit someone who is looking at transitioning from full-time hands-on work to a team leadership position.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and support the existing team while leading the assembly of projects / products.

Work closely with the engineering team to interpret drawings and specifications for production and assembly.

Prepare and maintain project schedules, milestones and deadlines

Support procurement and work with 3rd party suppliers to ensure on-time delivery of projects

Identify opportunities for process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce lead times.

Skills & Qualifications:

Experience with assembly

Strong understanding and knowledge of production processes

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing requirements

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal teams and external suppliers.

Forklift License (required)

Manual driver’s license (required)
