Your responsibilities Gasket Cutting Machines :

• Water Cutting Gasket profiles.
• Atom Knife Cutting Gasket profiles.
• Javelin Foam Tape Slitting.
• Javelin Rubber Slitting.
• Foam Tape Converting Kiss Cutting profiles.
• Nitrogen Gas Strut Gas-Up & De-gassing Tasks.

• Once completed, Stock used be adjusted and added into stock
• Once completed, all jobs to be cleaned, packed correctly, and ready to be invoice by stores
• Provide excellent and comprehensive communication with IRS Team and customers
• Create, maintain, and archive customer DXF, PDF, and Water Cut Files (WCF), and ensure Operations Manager is aware of location.
• Maintain regular stock checks and track use of consumable parts for machinery in the machinery area and purchasing when required
• Communicate internally with all IRS departments if required
• Support front counter sales/purchasing if required
• Support or backup Purchasing and Logistics Officer if required
• Work within stores department as required by Store Manager and/or Operations Manager

Cutting / Slitting / De-Gassing / Gassing Product

• Plan daily jobs for Cutting / Slitting / De-gassing / Gassing
• Proactively commence listed jobs
• Ensure cutting table is always running to its maximum capacity
• Proactively prepare material for future cuts
• Ensure all cut items are clearly marked with part numbers and meterage as per customer requirements
• Ensure packaging and presentation of customers' orders to be of a high standard
• Ensure all stock is marked with part numbers, sizes and stored correctly in an allocated area
• Ensure flexibility and proactive approach to daily work
• Ensure turnaround time on schedule is met consistently, and communicate to appropriate team members if turnaround time if unsure.
• Ensure a safe and clean work environment.

Essential Skills & Experience:

Previous machine operating experience in manufacturing environment

Basic computer skills for file management and stock systems

Ability to read technical drawings (DXF/PDF files)

Strong attention to detail for quality control

Physical capability to lift materials and stand for extended periods
