Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a machine operator. If you are looking to start a rewarding career in manufacturing, this position is an excellent opportunity for growth and development.

The main working hours are Monday -Friday: 8.00am - 4.06pm but there is occasionally some Saturday morning work also available.

Initially the job will be casual during the probation period, but, ongoing, this position is for a Full-Time job.

You will be responsible for operating and monitoring our machines to ensure efficient production processes.

Your duties will include setting up the machine, performinhg routine maintenance, adjusting machine settings as needed and inspecting finished products for quality.

You will work closely with team members to meet production goals while adhering to safety protocols and maintaining a clean work environment.

Responsibilities:

Operate machines according to our factory standard operating proceedures.

Set-up machines prior to production runs and adjust settings as necessary.

Monitor machines during operation to ensure they are running smoothly and make adjustments as needed.

Perform routine maintenance on machinery to keep them in good working condition.

Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet quality standards

Troubleshoot issues that arise during production and make necessary adjustments or repairs.

Follow safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents and injuries.

Maintain a clean and organised work area.

Qualifications:

All training will be provided on the job.

No experience necessary

Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

Strong attention to detail.

Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and proceedures.

Basic math skills.

Prior experience in manufacturing or machine operation is a plus but not a necessity

Forklift ticket an advantage, but not a requirement

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift & move heavy objects.

Stand for extended periods of time.

Bend, stoop and reach over-head as needed.

Manual dexterity for operating machinery and performing associated tasks.

Good physical stamina is important for performing these tasks safely and effectively
