Casual Dental Assistant

Vogue Dental Studios is a leading name in cosmetic and reconstructive dentistry across Australia. Based in our cutting-edge clinic on the Gold Coast, we are looking for a skilled, enthusiastic, and professional Clinical Dental Assistant to join our team on a casual basis. This role offers 2–3 days of work per week, with the flexibility to be available on short notice.

Roles and Responsibilities:

As a valued member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless clinical support and operational efficiency. Your responsibilities will include:

Providing exceptional chair-side assistance during dental procedures.

Coordinating with laboratories and managing stock orders.

Ensuring compliance with OH&S protocols.

Collaborating effectively within a small team environment.

Essentials:

Maintaining and enhancing professional knowledge and technical skills.

Undertake any reasonable additional tasks as directed by Vogue Dental Studios’ Clinic Manager

Ensure that all the relevant legislation and service standards are adhered to.

Take the initiative in risk identification, notification, and management.

Dental Assisting:

Providing a high level of clinical chair side assistance to contribute to the efficiency of any given dental procedure

Maintaining a safe and comfortable environment to patients and staff

Ensuring that Infection Control practices are always being adhered to

Monitoring sterilisation procedures and regular auditing of equipment

Ensuring current radiation safety standards are maintained

Dental Administration:

Supporting team with administration and receptionist duties when needed

The Successful Candidate Will Possess:

Experience in the dental industry

Strong computer skills

Experience using practice management software

Excellent Communication Skills with fluently spoken English

Strong Interpersonal Skills where they will enjoy interacting with other people

Efficiency in time-management and organisational skills

Meticulously pays attention to detail

Pride in work with strong sense of ownership and responsibility

Multi-Tasker and works under pressure
