Job Purpose
We are seeking a self-motivated and results-driven Territory Manager (Commercial & Industrial Lubricants) to join our Queensland Sales Team.
In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining key accounts while prospecting and securing new business within your designated territory.
This position covers Greater Brisbane and surrounding regions, with monthly regional travel that may include overnight stays. You’ll represent a trusted, Australian-made brand that continues to grow across both national and international markets.
How You Make an Impact
Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with major accounts to drive growth and optimise promotional activity.
Develop and implement strategic plans to secure new business within your territory.
Achieve monthly sales and growth targets across all product categories.
Monitor and expand existing customer relationships, increasing the breadth of Gulf Western Oil products sold.
Liaise with supply chain teams on product forecasting and trends to ensure seamless product availability.
Analyse territory performance, including revenue, gross profit, client usage, and follow-up activity on dormant accounts.
Execute national and local promotional activities to enhance brand awareness.
Continue developing sales skills, product knowledge, and teamwork capabilities.
Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure outstanding customer outcomes.
Review, analyse, and discuss monthly performance reports with the State Sales Manager.
What You Bring to the Role
Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills.
Proven track record of sales success and new business development.
Excellent business acumen, organisation, and attention to detail.
Clear communication skills, both written and verbal.
A proactive, positive attitude with the ability to use initiative.
Capability to work both autonomously and collaboratively within a high-performing team.
Computer literacy, including proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
A current, unrestricted driver’s licence.
