Leisure and Lifestyle Coordinator : Seniors Social Support Group

We are currently seeking a dedicated Leisure and Lifestyle Coordinator to lead and deliver exceptional Day Centre programs that enrich the lives of our clients.

About the Role
As the Leisure and Lifestyle Coordinator , you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing the daily operations of our CHSP funded Social Support Group (Seniors Day Centre) services in accordance with relevant regulations and Village policies. You will lead a caring and close-knit team, deliver engaging programs, and ensure a high standard of care and safety for our clients.

This role is permanent, full-time; hours of work are Monday to Friday 8:30am to 4:36pm.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate the provision of all Social Support Group (Day Centre) services.

Design and implement a diverse and engaging activities program and promote a respectful, home-like environment for all clients.

Assess new clients and develop personalised programs based on their physical, social, and healthcare needs.

Develop and evaluate Care Plans in consultation with clients and carers.

Assign duties to staff in alignment with individual client needs and goals.

Supervise and support Social Support Group staff, including rostering, conducting performance reviews and supporting engagement with relevant training.

Maintain accurate client and administrative records in compliance with legislation and ensure compliance with accreditation and quality standards.

Liaise with other service providers, agencies, and regulatory bodies as required.

Provide ongoing communication and updates to clients, families, and carers—including contributing to a monthly newsletter.

Promote the Village positively within the broader community.

Who We’re Looking For

A skilled leader with at least two years’ experience in a similar role within an aged care, disability or community services setting with proven team coordination skills.

Relevant qualifications in Aged Care and/or Community Services (minimum Certificate IV) and a current First Aid Certificate.

Strong knowledge of care planning, client assessment, and compliance requirements.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Commitment to maintaining high standards of safety, dignity, confidentiality, and person-centred care.

Someone with a current full Australian driver's license and a strong track record of safe driving who can confidently and competently drive a 12-seater bus.

Understanding of OH&S and infection control practices.

Ability to respond capably and appropriately in emergency situations.
