Motion Bound Pictures is a creative content agency based in Norwest, Sydney. We specialise in high-quality content creation and social media management, with a strong focus on building, construction, events and real estate. In just over three years, we’ve built a reputation for producing engaging visual content that helps our clients stand out.

We’re a small but ambitious team looking for a Mid - Senior Video Editor to take charge of our post-production workflow. You’ll lead the editing process, refine our creative output, and bring powerful storytelling to life across multiple industries. For the right candidate, there is scope to step into a leadership position with opportunities for profit-sharing or partnership.

This is an in-office position. We’ll be moving into a larger studio space in 2026, and team presence on site will remain an important part of how we work.

Role Overview

You’ll be responsible for creating high quality video edits. While shooting opportunities may arise, your primary focus will be on editing, motion graphics, and maintaining a consistent visual style across projects. You’ll work across industries like building & construction, real estate, and events, with the chance to put your creative stamp on a variety of projects.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the editing process from ingest to delivery, ensuring content is on-brand and impactful.

Edit engaging videos in Adobe Premiere Pro with a strong focus on pacing, storytelling, and sound design.

Create compelling motion graphics, titles, and animations (After Effects proficiency highly valued).

Collaborate closely with shooters, clients, and the social media team to ensure creative briefs are met.

Manage your own timelines while refining and improving our editing workflows.

Uphold and evolve Motion Bound Pictures’ post-production standards and visual style.

Skills & Experience

Minimum 3+ years’ professional experience in video editing (agency or production house background highly regarded).

Strong command of Adobe Premiere Pro; proficiency in After Effects and motion graphics is highly desirable.

Solid understanding of sound design, colour grading, and export workflows for social and web platforms.

Ability to tell stories visually with strong creative instincts and attention to detail.

A portfolio/showreel that demonstrates both technical skill and creative flair.

Organised, reliable, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Additional Requirements

Local to the Norwest area or able to commute easily.

Willing to occasionally support shoots when required.

Must hold a valid driver’s license and have reliable transportation.

What We Offer

$75,000 – $90,000 salary depending on experience.
