ROLE

As a Marketing Specialist, your focus will be to develop and coordinate advertising strategies and campaigns, determine the market for new goods and services, and identify and develop market opportunities for new and existing goods and services. Additionally determines the market for new goods and services, develops advertising strategies, and evaluates the best business sites for commercial organisations.

Duties & responsibilities:

Identifies market opportunities and advises on pricing and promotional strategies

Plans and develops advertising policies and campaigns to support sales goals

Advises executives and clients on advertising strategies to reach target markets and build consumer awareness

Coordinates production of advertising content across various media (e.g. digital, TV, social media, film) within budget and deadlines

Analyses consumer behaviour, preferences, and patterns

Interprets and forecasts current and future consumer trends

Conducts market research to assess demand and characteristics for new goods and services

Supports business growth through the development and execution of marketing objectives, policies, and programs

Experience & attributes:

3+ years experience in marketing, advertising, or a related field

Experience in developing and implementing marketing strategies and campaigns

Familiarity with digital marketing tools, platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Meta Ads), and analytics (e.g., Google Analytics)

Experience conducting market research and data analysis

Background in content creation, social media management, or SEO/SEM is often advantageous

Experience working with cross-functional teams such as sales, design, and product development

Understanding of branding, consumer behaviour, and marketing trends

Project management experience, including handling budgets and timelines
