About the Role
As a Hayaat Care Support Worker, you’ll be more than a carer — you’ll be a connector, an encourager, and an advocate for independence.
Your work will focus on helping participants achieve their daily goals and thrive in their homes and communities.
Key responsibilities include:
Providing one-on-one and group support to NDIS participants
Assisting with personal care, daily living, and household tasks
Supporting participants in community engagement and social activities
Encouraging skill development and independence through tailored support plans
Maintaining accurate documentation and communicating effectively with the care team
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
Minimum 3 months experience working with people with autism, intellectual disability, psychosocial disability, or neurological conditions
Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
Valid First Aid & CPR certification
Working With Children Check (WWCC)
Reliable transport and valid driver’s licence
Strong communication skills, empathy, and professionalism
Ability to work independently and as part of a supportive team
Desirable:
Certificate III or IV in Disability, Community Services, or equivalent
Experience in community access, mental health, or behaviour support
