- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the industrial, mining and manufacturing sector.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure tailored solutions meet client needs.
- Prepare detailed proposals, presentations, and contracts for prospective clients.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities.
- Provide regular sales performance reports and forecasts to management.
- Represent the company at industry events and networking opportunities.
Profile
A successful Business Development Manager should have:
- Proven experience in sales or business development within the industrial, mining, oil and gas or manufacturing industry.
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Capability to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- A solid understanding of the industrial and manufacturing market in Welshpool or similar regions.
- A valid driver's licence to facilitate client visits and travel.
