Part Time | Sellicks Beach, SA | Approx. 25 hours/week

For a warm, family-focused household (mother + teenage son)

We’re seeking an experienced, capable, and caring housekeeper/cook to support the smooth daily running of a private home in Sellicks Beach. This role suits someone who brings the energy of “old-school grandma” cooking, keeps a tidy, well-run home, and genuinely enjoys being of service.

This is a long-term position for someone who values consistency, quality, and independence—and takes pride in creating a calm, welcoming home environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Nutritious home-style cooking – daily meals made from scratch using fresh ingredients; simple, hearty, family-friendly food. Includes meal planning and grocery shopping.

Light daily housekeeping – tidying common areas, making beds, surface cleaning and general organisation

Weekly tasks – deep cleaning bathrooms and kitchen, washing/changing sheets, household laundry

Laundry & ironing – including careful garment care and wardrobe management

Dog walking & basic pet care (small/medium friendly dogs)

Errands & household tasks – dry cleaning, parcel drop-offs, shopping runs, etc.

Home organisation – maintaining the fridge, pantry, spare room, and linen cupboard, keeping stock up to date and orderly

You’ll Need:

3+ years of private housekeeping and home cooking experience

Strong home cooking skills – must enjoy preparing fresh, wholesome meals

High attention to detail, personal organisation, and pride in your work

Ability to work independently and follow routines

Comfortable with pets and teenage children

Own reliable transport and driver’s licence

Current Police Check (or willing to obtain)

Friendly, respectful, and discreet

Hours & Pay:

Approx. 5 hours/day, 5 days/week (negotiable)

Based on experience

Long-term, stable role for the right person
