Position overview
This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented and proactive administrator who enjoys working with data, systems, and people in a dynamic and globally focused environment.
Global Programs is a specialist team within the ANU International Office, responsible for the implementation, delivery, and support of learning abroad programs. The team supports colleges, students, and other stakeholders in facilitating credit-bearing international study experiences—both for ANU students going abroad and for international students coming to ANU as non-award exchange or study abroad participants. Global Programs also manages a range of mobility programs and funding schemes, including OS-HELP and the New Colombo Plan.
The Grants and Systems Officer plays a key role in administering these funding programs and managing the systems that support student mobility. This includes coordinating payments, supporting reporting requirements, maintaining the ANU Global Programs System, and providing training and support to staff across the University in the use of these systems.
We welcome applications from self-motivated and highly organised professionals with experience in finance, systems, administrative duties, and data analytics. The ideal candidate will be personable and capable of delivering outstanding customer service, with strong communication skills and a keen eye for detail. They will bring experience in grants or financial administration, confidence in working with data and digital tools, and a collaborative approach to supporting a wide range of stakeholders. A commitment to continuous improvement and service excellence is essential, along with excellent organisational skills and a proactive mindset. Experience in finance, office administration, and systems is highly desirable.
