About the role

We are seeking an experienced Automotive Diagnostic Technician to join our team at Smart AVR Pty Ltd in Melbourne, VIC. This is a full-time position where you will play a crucial role in identifying and resolving complex automotive issues using advanced diagnostic equipment and techniques.

What you'll be doing

Conduct thorough inspections and diagnostics on a wide range of vehicle makes and models

Utilise the latest diagnostic tools and equipment to analyse and troubleshoot vehicle faults

Repair and replace faulty components to restore vehicle functionality

Provide accurate and detailed reporting on all work undertaken

Liaise with customers to explain findings and recommended repairs

Maintain a high standard of workmanship and attention to detail

Stay up-to-date with industry developments and new automotive technologies

What we're looking for

A minimum of 3 years' experience as an Automotive Diagnostic Technician

Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues

Excellent working knowledge of automotive systems, including electrical, mechanical, and electronic components

Proficiency in using a range of diagnostic equipment and software

A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work

Strong communication skills to liaise with customers and team members

A current driver's licence.
